GRA COVID-19 PROTOCOLS & REQUIREMENTS

The Guelph Ringette Association is committed to the health and safety of it's members - it is our top priority.  Please check this page frequently for updates and all information related to COVID-19 protocols and requirements.

NON-COMPLIANCE

Failure to comply with protocols and requirements, will result in participants being restricted from participating in GRA programming, and may face additional penalties as dictated by the Ringette Ontario (RO) Policy on Non-Compliance of COVID Safety Measures.

FACILITY SCREENING PROTOCOLS

RAMP APP

All players will be required to fill in both attendance and the screener on the RAMP app.  This is mandatory for contact tracing and dictated by Ringette Ontario.   Spectators must be added under each player, and doing this means that they pass the screener as well.  Anyone with COVID symptoms, who has someone at their home with COVID symptoms, or who has been told by Public Health and/or their doctor to stay at home cannot attend our ice times.

Should someone not fill out both, they are not to attend the ice time and they face additional penalties from the GRA.  The GRA faces losing ice contracts if we do not comply.

On top of our own GRA RAMP app, the City and U of G have their own screeners that MUST be filled out.

FACILITY SCREENING

City of Guelph

Use the City of Guelph Screener; there will be a greeter who should be checking the 'green checkmark' that you get when you are done.  Take a screenshot or leave your phone on the 'checkmark' page so you can flash this to the greeter.

University of Guelph

Use the University of Guelph Screener; there will be a greeter who should be checking the 'green checkmark' that you get when you are done. Take a screenshot or leave your phone on the 'checkmark' page so you can flash this to the greeter.

VACCINE PASSPORT

We expect that after September 22 when the Government of Ontario 'Vaccine Passport' regulations come into effect that you will be required to show your second dose vaccination receipt to enter the facilities - this will be enforced and required by facilities. Additionally, while we don’t know the details of the proposed “vaccine passport” at this time, if a person has a medical condition that exempts them from being vaccinated he or she may be required to provide a doctor’s note.

QUESTIONS?

We made it through last season without any incidents in all clubs who are part of Ringette Ontario.  We want to do the same this season.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Jared Pulleyblank (vicepresident@guelphringette.ca) who is our President and COVID Safety Lead for this season.
