"WELCOME TO OUR LAIR"

CALLING ALL MOMS
Have you wondered what it's like to play ringette? Or maybe you played when you were a kid? We're looking for women to play shinny ringette with our DD team. Absolutely no experience is required - many of us traded in figure skates to play. Our goal is to have fun and get off the ice safely! We guarantee a lot of laughs and the opportunity to play this amazing sport. No travel is required. For more information, contact Arlene Warner at arlenewarner@hotmail.com.

MOUTHGUARDS MANDATORY
At the 2010 Guelph Ringette Association Annual General Meeting a motion was put forward and after significant discusion was overwhelmingly passed that mouthguards will be mandatory for all Guelph players for those age groups U19 and under effective for the 2010/2011 season. Therefore players will not be allowed to pracice or play in games without a mouthguard similiar to all other mandatory equipment requirements. The GRA is hoping to host or work together with other Community Organizations to have a mouthguard clinic in late August or early September.

VOLUNTEEER HELP NEEDED
As with any volunteer organization, GRA is always in the need for new, enthusiastic volunteers to bring new energy and ideas to improve the manner in which GRA serves its members, especially our players. Some of the possible ways you can become more involved in the GRA are becoming a member of our executive, coaching, refereeing and helping with our annual tournament.
In order to continue to improve GRA and the sport of ringette for you and your child, we need your support and active involvement. You can help GRA no matter how much or how little time you might have to contribute. Please contact any member of our executive to discuss how you can help and become a part of this great group of fun-loving people that dedicate a lot of time to this fantastic sport of ringette.
