Connect Tech Inc. – Corporate Sponsor of the Year
Connect Tech Inc. (CTI) is small to medium sized company in the City of Guelph that designs and manufactures high performance communications enabling technology to clients around the world, since 1985. CTI joined the Guelph Ringette Association 6 years ago as a team sponsor, but has grown to be much, much more. Through the actions of the President and Co-Founder, David Worthen and his wife Suzanne, they have become the backbone of Guelph Ringette Association. Their annual contributions include:
1.
Sponsorship of two teams – accounting for thousands
of dollars to the GRA over the past 6 years;
2.
Participation on the GRA Executive, Fundraising
Committee, the Annual Tournament Organizing Committee;
3.
Managing and coaching of teams at all levels (C
through AA);
4.
Corporate assistance in the organization and
implementation of various fundraising and promotional activities throughout the
City of Guelph;
5.
Provision of communications technology support to the
local and regional tournaments;
6.
Provision of CTI office facilities for team
gatherings and dry-land training sessions;
7.
Provision of the CTI boardroom for monthly GRA
Executive and committee meetings; and
8.
Provision of the CTI warehousing facilities for
sorting, storing, and delivery of foods and products during numerous annual
fundraising drives.
Most importantly, Connect Tech helps to nurture the “heart
and soul” of the Guelph Ringette Association. The company is active in virtually all
aspects of Ringette and proudly promulgates the sport
wherever it does business. The company
and the Worthens, contribute countless hours (in
excess of 1,000 hours/year), numerous corporate resources, and cash. Without them, the void left in our
organization would be significant.
Connect Tech is truly a model corporate sponsor. We are proud to be included in the CTI
family.
